Standard Fees

The standard fee is $150 for a 50-minute psychotherapy session.

Consultation Fees

 

The standard consultation fee is $175/hour.

Payment Types Accepted

 

Ruiseñor Psychological accepts payment in the form of cash, credit/debit card, Visa/Mastercard, Disover, Diners Club International, JCB, and American Express.

Accepted Insurance

·         Medi-Cal/Cencal through the Holman Group

·         Victims of Crime Compensation

We are currently an out-of-network provider for all other insurances. If you would like to use any other insurance, you will be required to pay the full fee upfront and you will be provided with a superbill, which can be sent to your insurance for reimbursement. Please double-check with your insurance carrier beforehand to ensure mental health services are covered and obtain the reimbursement amounts.

Appointments

 

Ruiseñor Psychological offers morning, afternoon, and early evening appointments (scheduled on the hour). To schedule an appointment please call (805) 332-3260.

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

 

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call (805) 332-3260 day or night. If we are closed, please leave us a message. If you do not cancel your appointment 24-hours in advance, you will be charged the session fee.
